Joe Thomas Davis, age 87 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Sparta, passed away on July 12, 2017. He retired after 32 years from Ford Glass Plant in Nashville.
He preceded in death by his mother Lou Davis, father Joe Davis and his grandson Troy Tuggle.
Survived by his beloved wife of some 60 years Reba Rice Davis - Rutherford County, Tennessee.
Daughters: Susie Davis - White County, Tennessee; Tonya Davis - Rutherford County;
His Grandchildren: Brandi (Josh) Gadd and
Collin Brown;
Brothers: Bud (Lois) Davis, Bill (Nell) Davis, and Bobby (Janet) Davis; and the large loving family of Dewey and Ola Rice of Putnam County, Tennessee.
Services will be Saturday July 15, 2017 in the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with interment in the Plainview Cemetery in Cassville.
Tim Judd and Elmore Judd will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be: Collin Brown, Josh Gadd, Danny Goff, Chad Gantt, Shane Gantt, and Richard Rice.
