Around 1888, Molly divorced Elisha leaving him with all the children. She changed her name to Mary Cansada and married again to a Daniel Carter Shrader.
Elisha married Martha McCamish 22 May 1896. Martha died about 1899 leaving him with her two children from a previous marriage:

Elisha married Phoebe (Pheaby) B. Gillam 16 Feb 1901.
