Earlene Abner BELL CITY -- Earlene Abner. 65, died Monday at Aurora, 111. She was born July 24, 1912 in Stoddard County to the late Thomas and Erta Steward Matheney. On Aug 31, 1932, she married Willie Frank Abner, who died Feb 25, 1975 One brother and a sister also preceded her in death Surviving are: Five sons. Martin Luther Abner of Bloomfield Route One and John Thomas, Lester Raymond, Ben Elvis and Richard Lynn Abner of Aurora, 111; seven daughters . Joann Flowers. Melba Stopher, Bonnie Abner, Connie Abner and Mrs. Dean Fowler of Aurora, 111., Betty Autry of Germany and Pearline Tyler of Cuba; two brothers, Austin Matheney and Jack Matheney of Eaton. Idaho, and 21 grandchildren Friends may call after 4 p m Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, where services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Lewis Gardner officiating Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery at Advance.
