LaFAYETTE --- Mr. Albert Finley, 88, of LaFayette died Wednesday, Dec. , 1996, at his residence.

Funeral services r scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church with the rev. James S. Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Handy Cemetery.

Mr. Finley is survived by his wife, Annie L. Finley of LaFayette; four sons, Albert Finley Jr. of Chicago, Ill. James Raymond Finley of Mobile, Charles Finley and Walter Finley, both of LaFayette; seven daughters, Annie Louis Owens, Isabella Jackson and Lorene Holloway, all of LaFayette, Mary Jennings of Lanett, Dorothy Relf and Barbara McKinnie, both of Decatur, Ga., and Cynthia Fears of West Point; three sisters, Mrs. Dell B. Wilson of Piedmont,, Mrs. Eva Jackson and Mrs Carrie Brooks, both of LaFayette; two stepdaughter, Mary Ann Allen and Deborah Allen, both of LaFayette; 32 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.

Mr. Finley was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, whee he served faithfully as a steward for many years. He was retired as a carpenter after many years.
