Betty M. (Packett) Lonborg, 83, of New Port Richey FL died Friday morning, August 4, 2017.
She was born August 25, 1933 at Beatrice and graduated from Pawnee City High School. She later attended Pershing College. She married Bill Brown and they later divorced. She was married to Marvin Packett and he died in 1985. She then married Dane Lonborg in 2001. She was a career purchasing manager for many companies in several states. She was a former member of Red Hats Society. She and Dane had been involved in community service work and a neighborhood garden. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and had traveled extensively with Dane and their friends from The Groves.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Brown and Ronald (Shelly Crowley) Packett of Beatrice; one daughter, Beth (Justin) Ford of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Stacey (Corey) Edeal, Lisa Brown and Paige Trauernicht; two great-grandchildren; three step-children and their families; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Pearl Bentz Denton; husband Marvin, who died in 1985; husband Dane, who died July 30, 2017; one daughter, Kathy Stephens; one brother, Don Denton; one sister, Barbara Denton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice with Rev. David A. Bigley officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. A memorial has been established to the family's choice. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from 12:00 noon Thursday until time of services on Friday.
