Mr. Denton was born March 28, 1900, in Beatrice, Neb., a son of Silas Richard and Maude Billings Denton.
He was married to Pearl Bentz. They were later divorced.
He was a laborer and construction worker.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, Donald Denton, Seneca, Kan.; Mrs. Marvin (Betty) Packet, Beatrice, Neb.; Miss Barbara Denton, Lincoln, Neb.; his mother, Mrs. Maude Fisher, Beatrice, Neb.
The body will be sent to the Harmon Mortuary in Beatrice, Neb., by Lindquist and Sons Mortuary for services and burial.
