He was formerly from Parsons. He was born June 1, 1956, to Preston and Marie Davenport, who preceded him in death.
He enjoyed karaoke, motorcycles, hunting and carpentry.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Dixie.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; and siblings, Walt (Pam) Davenport, Thurman Davenport, Sharon (Mike) Waun, Mike (Deanna) Davenport, Bobbie Davenport and Sheryl (James) Burnett; children, Loren, Amanda, Cecilia and Skylar; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service with military honors at 2 p.m. Aug. 26 at Oakwood Cemetery.
