Mr. O'Neil was one of the old settlers of Kiowa, Kansas. In the early days he was a member of the firm of O'Neil & Kaufman, cattlemen, who shipped many carloads of stuff to the local market. He was the founder and president of the First National Bank of Kiowa, but he made his home in Wichita on account of his milling interests in this city.
The funeral services will be held from the St. Mary's Cathedral Monday morning. Interment will be made in the Calvary Cemetery.

Between 1920 and 1930, William's wife Anna Scripsick O'Neil, and his two children, Katherine and John O'Neil, moved to San Diego, California. Anna died there in 1965. (Anna's parents, Michael and Frances Scripsick are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in San Diego.)
