Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Ramona, his eight children, Renee, Yolanda, Chrissy, Danny, Yvonne, Patricia, Rev. Don Perea and Bernadette, 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, José and Gertrude Perea and three brothers and one sister.
Dan served his country with the United States Army, serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
Dan was a loving husband and father and was a dedicated provider for his family. Dan was a hero to his wife and family. His family was the most important thing to Dan and it reflects in their lives.
The family would like to extend their thanks for all the support they received from their family and friends during Dan's illness.
Vigil will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 6:30 p.m. at French – Wyoming. Friends may visit beginning at 5:30 p.m. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Bernalillo Cemetery.
