Born in Riverside, California, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Patricia (Robinson) Fox. She lived and attended schools in Texas and Nebraska. She later moved to Oklahoma with her family and graduated from Stuart High School in 1981. After graduation, she attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton and East Central State University in Ada. She married Benny Bryant on Dec. 18, 1998, in Pittsburg. She was attending the Vision Cosmetology Institute. She died in a drowning accident in Pittsburg at the age of 40. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Fox; her husband, Benny Bryant, on Aug. 20, 2001; her paternal grandparents, Ralph B. Sr. and Margaret Fox, Opal and Ray Wood and her maternal grandfather, Marvin Robinson.
