The funeral of Adolph Machel, 44, Granton, a former resident of this city who died in Milwaukee Dec. 17, was held yesterday afternoon from the Baer-Lange-Rembs funeral home, the Rev. W. J. Ferne officiating. Burial was at Hillsi[d]e cemetery.
Mr. Machel had been employed in Milwaukee as a wood worker for the past two years after leaving this city. His wife, who survives him cared for the farm at Granton. While in the city he was employed at the Roddis Lumber and Veneer company.
The deceased was born in Germany on March 23, 1886 and was married in Neillsville in 1917 to Mrs. Hattie Read and resided on the farm near Granton for a number of years.
Besides his wife the deceased is survived by his father who lives in Chicago.
