My furbaby, Lancer. I found Lancer living outside and hiding in a dumpster. It took me 8 months of feeding to win him over. He was so thin and it was getting cold out so I brought him inside. We went to the vet to get a check up and have him fixed. The vet said he was about 3, and that he had feline aids. The vet suggested I put him down that day! I said no, had him fixed, and took him home. Lancer blended in well with the family and my other 5 kitties. He was skin and bones at about 13 pounds in the beginning. He ended up a pretty big cat at a trim & healthy 22 pounds.
We had him a wonderful and loving 7 years before his illness took him from us. I’m glad I kept him and enjoyed the 7 years of happiness we all shared. We miss you Lancer and will see you again someday.
