Age 84, passed away August 27, 2017 at home. He was born on August 23, 1933 in Dorton, KY to Alfred and Maggie (Mullins) Anderson. On March 7, 1956, he married Lucy B. Branham in Lebanon, VA, and she survives. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Neva, 4 brothers, Victor, Tildon, Paul, Lester Clayton.

Olan attended Baptist Churches, along with his wife. He was a self-employed carpenter who loved building things with his own hands. He loved to reminisce about “The Old Days”, Loved NASCAR and gardening. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, 2 daughters: Debbie Stone of Ypsilanti, Tresa (David) Davis of Prescott, MI, 2 sons: Carson Anderson of Wayne, Hubert Anderson of KY, 17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 2 gt gt grandchildren. Also survived by 1 sister: Audry Caudill of Tecumseh, 4 brothers: Nolan (Ardell) Anderson of Adrian, Lowell Anderson of Jackson, Phillip (Jenny) Anderson of Canton and Danny Anderson of Brooklyn, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Neva, 4 brothers, Victor, Tildon, Paul, Lester Clayton.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Pastor Calvin Brown officiating.
