Charles Arthur Perry, 83, of Tifton passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Tifton. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Herman Walker officiating. Mr. Perry will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born January 23, 1933 in Berrien County, Mr. Perry was the son of the late William Wesley Perry and Sinnie Mae Perry. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Downs Perry; and a daughter, Deletha Jones. He retired from Avondale Mills and was a member of Carpenter Road Church of God in Tifton. He enjoyed playing golf.
Mr. Perry is survived by his two children; his step-children and their spouses; a brother, Mack ; two sisters; three grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
