Mrs. Golden's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church, Lance Golden, Jason Golden and Terrell Rutland.
Born June 4, 1939, in Lenox, Mrs. Golden was the daughter of the late William Wesley Perry and Sinnie Mae Smithie Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, W. L. Golden; one grandson, Trevor Golden; one great-granddaughter, Kamrynne Hall; five sisters, Annie Dora Kelly, Evie Lee Cosper, Kathleen Pearson, Genell Clements and Mary Evelyn Beverly; and four brothers, Alfred Perry, Robert Perry, Charles Perry and Lawrence Perry. She was a homemaker and attended Beulah Holiness Baptist Church in Cook County and was very active in the church until the end. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was cooking for all of them.
Mrs. Golden is survived by three daughters, Gay Whitley of West Berrien, Kay (Curtis) Billings of Tifton and Barbara Elaine (Roy) Lynch of Lenox; one son, Ted (Debra) Golden of West Berrien; her grandchildren, Chris Whitley, Chad (Natasha) Whitley, Casey (Courtney) Billings, Brooke (Carl) Hancock, Jesse (Alexis) Lynch, Teresa (Len) Moore, Allyson (Michael) Gaskins, Teddy (Cady) Golden, Joey (Leslie) Golden, Sharon Boyd and Tammy Burgess; her great-grandchildren, Austin, Kaylin, Dakota, Kaylee and Kason Whitley, AmeKate and Luke Hancock, Grady and Grayson Lynch, Nate, Haley and Cainan Hall, Brennan, Ella, Ava and Bryer Gaskins, Charlee Golden and Masen Golden; one brother, Mack (Nell) Perry; and a special niece, Patricia Harris.
