Jacqueline G. Earl, age 79, of St. Clair, died August 4, 2017, in Detroit after a brief illness. She was born April 21, 1938 in St. Clair to the late Frederick and Grace (Zimmer) Currier. A lifelong area resident, she married Kenneth L. Earl on November 9, 1974 in St. Clair. He predeceased her on July 4, 1993. She was previously employed with East China Schools, was the former owner of St. Clair Coney Island with her husband Ken, and later in life worked at Silk's Flowers, St. Clair.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. She will be remembered for her homemaking skills, especially her baking and knitting.
She is survived by her children; Keith (Janice) Winn, and Nancy (Dennis) Ellery of St. Clair, and John (Victoria) Winn, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, sister in law; Susan Currier and several nieces and nephews and a special thank you to her Port Huron Dialysis Center family. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister; Charlotte Kammer and brother; Raymond Currier.
Mass of Resurrection will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair.Visiting hours will be Monday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair.
