June A. Shepard, 69, of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, June 4, 1994, in Suntower/Columbia West Hospital, El Paso, after a brief illness. Services and burial were held June 6 in El Paso.
Survivors include five children, Tony of Brownsburg, Ind., Ronald and Mark, both of El Paso, Texas, and Debbie of Dallas, all graduates of Washington High School, and Bryan of Dallas, a graduate of Kennedy High School.
After residing in Cedar Rapids for over 30 years, June retired with her husband in 1987, relocating to El Paso. She worked for many years for both her church and community. June touched the lives of many people and had a deep, heartfelt closeness with her family, relatives and friends. Her memory will always be held close to our hearts, as she will be missed enormously.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of June A. Shepard.
