Samuel is the son of Nathaniel and Mary Hardy Yeakley
Obituary
Samuel Yeakley, 66, well-known farmer, died at his home about six miles east of Flora on State Road 18, about 11:50 Monday night following a two-year illness. The body was brought to the Carter Funeral Home.
Born in Washington township on April 8, 1892, he was a son of Nathaniel and Mary (Hardy) Yeakley. On Febmary 26,1913, he was united in marriage to Edith Williams, who survives.
He also leaves a son, Donald, Bringhurst R- R.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Perry, Flora R. R. 2; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Clifford R, died in 1918 at the age of five months.
He was a member of the Deef Creek Presbyterian church.
A farmer he had resided on the farm where he died the past twenty years.
Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock at the Carter Funeral Home. Rev. Philip VanZandt will officiate. Burial will be made in the Rock Creek cemetery.
