Edith Yeakley, 86, Rt. 1, Flora, died Thursday, May 3, 1979, at 6:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Hospital,Kokomo.Born May 30,1892, in Carroll County,she was the daughter of James S. and Clara Cook Williams. Her marriage was to Samuel Yeakley, who died in 1959. A life resident of the county, she was a member of Hopewell North Presbyterian Church at Deer Creek and the Wheeling Ladies Aid.Surviving are one son, Donald E.Yeakley of Rt. 1, Flora; one daughter,Mrs. Elmer (Helen) Perry of Rt. 1,Flora; one brother, Dillard Williams,Logansport; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. A son, Clifford,preceded her in death.Funeral services were Sunday at 2p.m. in Baker Funeral Home with the Rev.
