Mrs. Alvina Harbeck Succumbs After an Operation

Death Thursday claimed Mrs. Alvina Harbeck, 59 years old, 2005 Boies street, in a Sioux City hospital following an operation. Mrs. Harbeck had been a resident of Sioux City for 15 years. Born in Jefferson, S. D., August 3, 1869, she lived there until 1914 when she came to Sioux City where she had lived since. The deceased was a member of the Royal Neighbors. She is survived by her widower, J. W. Harbeck; two sons, Rudolph and L. J. Harbeck; two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Flanagan, and Miss Lillian Harbeck, all of Sioux City. Mrs. Harbeck also is survived by six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock Saturday morning at the Sacred Heart church. Rev. J. A. Jansen will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery.
