Katherine Janssen

JANSSEN, Katherine Our Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Dear Friend, Kathy, chose to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 10, 1998. A memorial mass was held on Wednesday, January 14, 1998 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Reverend William Zimmer officiated. It was her wish to be cremated. Kathy was born to Fritz and Eunice Levenhagen on October 19, 1953. She attended Sacred Heart School and Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. She completed her education in Myrtle Creek. She married Rick Janssen in December 1973. She lived with her husband and son Levi until May 1997. She then made her home in Two Rivers, Wisconsin with her sister and brother-in-law, until the time of her death. Kathy loved to walk in the woods, pick wild flowers, and spend time at the Oregon Coast. Her church in Myrtle Creek meant a lot to her. Kathy also loved working with small children at Myrtle Creek DC Christian School for eight years. Survivors include her husband Rick and her son Levi, her grandson Joshua, her mother and father, Fritz and Eunice Levenhagen, her sisters, Janet Rosera, Ann Diemesh, JoAnne Hyneck, her brothers John, Allen, and Robert Levenhagen, and all their families. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Kathy has joined her sister, Judy, her nephew, Eric, and her Special Aunt Beatrice in Heaven. Kathy wanted every one of her family to know how much she loved them. Kathy is sadly missed by all the family.
