Last Saturday evening, Mrs. Borch, wife of the section foreman, nine miles west of Missoula, was riding on a hand car with the porkmen, when she accidentally placed herself in such a position that she was struck by the lever and her head caught between the lever and the upright. The stroke on the head and back caused concussion of the spine, which resulted almost immediately in paralysis. Dr. Hedger was called and did everything possible but the injuries were so severe that there was little hope of her recovery and Monday evening as she was being brought to the hospital, she died.
She was buried in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Borch was about 35 years old and leaves one child about two years old.--The Missoulian
