She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Eubanks; parents Lum and Lillie Nichelson; brothers, Floyd Nichelson, Raymond Nichelson and David Nichelson; and a sister, Lucille Nichelson.
She is survived by two very devoted daughters, Patsy (Jimmy) Welford of Lucedale and Frances (Bobby) Hamilton of Petal; two very supportive sons, Charlie (Jimmie Ann) Eubanks of Lucedale and Jerry Eubanks of Pascagoula; brothers, Roy (Jimmie) Nichelson, Lucedale, Troy (Johnnie) Nichelson, Jackson, Robert (Emma Lou) Nichelson, Tulsa, OK and Ann (Julius) Yates, Tulsa, OK She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Mike (Katri) Welford, Scott Welford, Alan (Janice) Eubanks, Lucedale, Lisa (Jay) Bolton, Mobile, Ann (Wayne) Wilson, Brian (Pam) Eubanks, Lance (Amy) Eubanks, Pascagoula and Phil (Gwen) Howell, Huntsville, AL; and 15 great grandchildren, Elliot, Ethan and Michaela Welford; Erin and Cameron Welford; Andrew and Allison Eubanks, all of Lucedale; Joshua Hollingsworth, Logan Wilson; Bo, Alex and Ashton Eubanks; Kendall and Cody Eubanks, Pascagoula and Jessica and Kelsey Howell, Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends and a wonderful church family at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Phil Howell, Mike Welford, Scott Welford, Alan Eubanks, Brian Eubanks, Lance Eubanks and Joshua Hollingsworth.
The wake was held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 31 at Sigler Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. from Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Rev. John Merck officiating.
In remembrance of Mrs. Eubanks, donations are preferred over flowers. Donations may be made to The Hospice of Light Program or Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
