He is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Townsend; Wally owned and operated Wally's Bowling Alley in Seymour for 32 years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling with Gordis on family vacations. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Most of all he enjoyed his family. Wally was a long time Seymour Lions Club member, active in local AARP group, elected to the Green Bay Bowling Association Hall of Fame and was the last of eight original Green Bay Bowling Proprietors. Wally enjoyed playing cards with his many friends and was an avid Packer fan.
Wally is survived by his children: Barb (Tom) Luepke, Rhonda (Dale) Marsh, Dan (Ruth) Beilfuss, all of Seymour, Debbie (Kevin) Jones, Black Creek, Jim Beilfuss, Seymour, Mary Wudtke, Bonduel; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Marge Peterson, Shawano, June Raether, Seymour; sisters-in-law: Regis Westphal, Karen (Earl) Brassow, Ruth Banaszynski, Violet Beilfuss, and Joyce Beilfuss.
He is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Phil Wudtke; sister, Lou (Vic) Radloff; brothers: Jerry Beilfuss and Bob Beilfuss; sisters-in-law: Fay (Gilbert) Bonnin and Marie (Joel) Sauer; and brothers-in-law: Lenny Banaszynski, Lothar Westphal, Ward Peterson, Bert Raether, and Vernie Rosenow.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue, on Saturday, October 21, 2017. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 12 noon until services at 2:00 pm with Pastor Steven Mueller officiating. Burial will take place in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
