"Grandma Krebs," as she was affectionately known to everybody In this city for many years during her residence here, was found dead in her bed in her San Francisco home Saturday night, according to the San Francisco papers of that day. Mrs. Veuve, which is her right name, had recently dislocated her shoulder and was at the time of her death under the doctor's case. The medico had called on her that same day and found his patient so improved that he thought it safe to have her sleep unattended with the result that she died alone or what is most probable in such cases, died in a natural sleep. Mrs. Veuve was extremely well known in this city and love by all. She was the mother of Mrs . Emma Krebs, formerly of San Luis Obispo, and grandmother of Mignon, Dr. Otto, Dr. E T. and Helen Krebs and Mrs. Edgar Jacques. She was a native of Switzerland, aged 79 years. Her grandchildren were all reared in this city.
