Theresa “Tacie” Bette Dorey was born May 7, 1859 at Clinton County, PA to Richard Dorey and Virginia Baird. She was the wife of Edwin/Edward Bruce Farwell.

Tacie died on Dec. 28, 1933.

Mrs. Tacie D. Farwell, widow of Edwin B. Farwell, died yesterday afternoon at 1:25 o’clock at her residence, 234 East Church Street, after a long illness with a complication of diseases. She was in her 75th year and was born on the Island, being the daughter of the late Richard and Virginia Dorey. A lifelong resident of this section, she was for many years a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
Three sons and one daughter survive: Haven, Pittsburgh; L. R., Detroit, Mich.; Charles, this city and Mrs. L. B. Remick, at home; four sisters, Mrs. T. G. Glossner, this city; Mrs. Nora McGuire, McElhattan, and Mrs. Tabitha Jones and Mrs. Arthur Brickell, Jersey Shore; two brothers, Hayes Dorey of Island and Alfred Dorey of this city, also 10 grandchildren.
