Penny, I have thought and thought to try to write what would let you and others know much I love you and miss you so much. That stroke I had has stopped me from being able to write as well as I used to. While looking on Pinterest I found the perfect poem to say what I have been trying to say.

I remember the day when Lisa, my sister, asked if Bob and I could take you home. Lisa loved you, but wasn't able to keep you financially. Lisa's boyfriend, Victor, brought you to their home to save you because the man who had you was abusing you. Lisa and Victor didn't have a fenced area and she told me she had you tied around a tree. I got off of work at 3 o'clock and went right to her home to get you. I was in the driveway. I opened the back door to have it ready to try to get you in there, so we could go to your new home. Lisa was there and was getting the rope off of the tree. Before I could get the car door open all the way you were there and you jump right in. You were so beautiful. I took you to the vet that day, April 23, 2006 and she said you were about 3 years of age.I made you date to April 23, 2003.

I loved you that day and have never stopped. I miss you so much. Here is the poem I found today.

I lost a special friend today
the kind you can't replace,
and looking at her empty bed
I still can see her beautiful face.
I know she's in a special place
our Lord has such friends,
Where meadows, fields & flowers
help make them strong and whole again.
I know she's watching over me
She'll be with me when I cry,
So with one more kiss on her beloved head
I told my friend goodbye.
