Our loving father, Glenn Taylor, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007. Glenn was born in Ogden, Utah to Eldred Orson Taylor and Julia Maddock. Glenn has two wonderful brothers, Wayne and Lawrence. At 18 months Glenn and his family moved to Bakersfield where he lived all his life except when he served in the Air Force and was stationed in various bases across our country. Glenn was a pilot in WWII and was very proud to have served his country. Shortly after returning home from serving his country he met the love of his life, Mary and on July 7, 1945, in Multry, Georgia, they were married. Glenn was a successful tile and marble contractor for many years. Glenn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS and held various callings in life. Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Mary; and their three children, Mark Taylor, Annette Carson, and Michelle Binning. Glenn is also survived and will be dearly missed by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and his surviving brother, Lawrence Taylor. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne Taylor. A memorial service will be held in Glenn's loving memory on Monday, March 19th, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS at 5600 Panorama Dr. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Mortuary.
