She was born August 20, 1942 in Scottsburg, IN. and her parents, Hiram Smith and Mary Poppee Smith preceded her in death.
She was employed by Holms Industry in Scottsburg, IN. for 26 years. She was a member of IAM & AW Local # 2723 in Scottsburg where she was the financial secretary.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Janet Marie (Wayne)Davidson of Charlestown, IN. and Pamela (Wayne) Hall of Underwood, IN.; son, William Evans (Teresa) Cissell, Jr., Underwood, IN.; sisters, Judy Butts of Cooper, TX. and Hazel of Cooper, TX.; half brother Joseph Smith, Seymour, IN.; 7 grandchildren, Shane Davidson, Jake Hatter, Joshua Cissell, George Hall, Allisia Hatter, Amber Hall and Jeremy Cissell; and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday 4pm-8pm. and Wednesday 9am - 8pm. at R.D. Pyke Funeral Service and Thursday after 9am until service at R.D. Pyke Funeral Service.
Burial was at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Scottsburg, IN. The family requests donations to:
