Omery Donald Compton, age 86 of Hi Hat, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 22, 1931 in Price, Kentucky to the late Burgess & Rhoda Moore Compton. He was the husband of Juanita Williams Compton. He was a retired carpenter & coal miner; Deacon & Clerk for Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church; Member for 53 years (April 26, 1964). Along with his wife he is survived by his Sons: Gary (Beulah) Compton of Price, Kentucky & Joey (Regina) Compton of Harold, Kentucky; Daughters: Rhoda G. (Butch) Paige & Charlotte (Eddie) Shelton both of Price, Kentucky; Sister: Gertrude Rose of Price, Kentucky; 12 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother & Sister: Ashland “Pete” Compton & Alice Mae Compton. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
