Mae Clark, longtime Morris resident, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 89 years of age. Mae was born October 4, 1928 in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late Troy and Beulah Alberta (Rose) Jones. She married B.L. Clark on June 30, 1954 in Yellville, Arkansas. Mae worked for many years as a cashier at Safeway. She loved traveling, spending time with her family and attending the Jones Family Reunions. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, O.W.L.S., and the Morris Senior Citizens Center. She was an avid OSU Fan and a Red Hatter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, B.L. Clark, a son, Jerry David “Bo” Clark, son-in-law, Will Streight, and siblings, Leroy Jones, Ruby Ply, Lucille Hammick, Lloyd Jones, and Ginger Mason. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Gary McKeen officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
