A well-known real estate man of early Richmond. Wellington Goddin served also as Director of Hollywood Cemetery during the Civil War.
In his last years, Goddin lived in a home in Hanover County not far from the Courthouse- the road on which the house stood is now named "Goddin's Hill Road".
Wellington Goddin was the son of Capt. John Goddin and Roxanna Ford Goddin.
