Gustave (Gus) Nowak, 72 Castle Rock Ridge farmer, died at a Dodgeville hospital on Monday May, 4, 1964, after a long illness. He was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Buben) Nowak. Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic Church, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., the Rev. Alfred Endres officiating. Arrangements were made by the Hannan Soman Funeral Home. Surviving are his wife Emma, five sons, James and George of Milwaukee, Joe of Marion, Kansas, Anthony and Tom at home; five daughters, Mrs James Sullivan of Madison, Mrs. Leonard Cummings and Miss Patricia Nowak of Milwaukee, Mrs. Mary Margis of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Lyle Edge of Montfort, a sister; Nora (Mrs. John) Yanna of Muscoda and 18 grandchildren.
