ADA HAYES SERVICES CONDUCTED WEDNESDAY
Final rites were conducted Jan. 12 at the Miller-Tillotson Chapel for Ada Hayes who died Jan. 9. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Hayes, daughter of John Wesley and Emma (Ellis) Dorrell, was born Aug. 5, 1887 in Marceline. On Jan. 17, 1904 she was united in marriage to Robert Hayes and to this union four children were born. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Donna Hickson and Doris Austin of Kansas City, Kansas, Dessie Zebas of Cherokee, Iowa; one son, Gene Hayes of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Bessie Hayes of Marceline; and several grandchildren.
