Ida was the daughter of Merida Eugene and Mary Elizabeth Walters Fisher. She married John Will Williams, son of William Franklin and Neatie Seymour Williams on 19 January 1924 in Smith Co, TX. John is buried in Land of Memory Cemetery in Anderson Co,TX. Ida died from injuries suffered when she was struck by a car while crossing Crockett Road in Palestine, TX. She was 81 years old at the time, and was walking home from the nursing home where she had been to visit the 'old folks'.

Mrs. Williams
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Williams, of 525 E. Angelina St., will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Royal officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident here. She was born in Franklinton, La., and was a daughter of M. E. and Mary Elizabeth Walters Fisher. She had resided in Palestine most of her life. Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Palestine Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was employed for many years by Rita's Hat Shop.
Survivors include a brother, James B. Fisher of Lacombe, La.; and several nieces and nephews. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.Condolence call will be received at the Lewis Fisher home on the Old Boston Road, phone 729-3700.
