Paul Clay Cornett, 72, of North Vernon, died at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at his home.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Cornett; a son, Darlis (Julie) Cornett of North Vernon; daughters, Cindy (Raleigh) Barnes of Scipio, Rhonda (Bob) Joy of Columbus, and Lori (mark) Nichodemus of Walton, Kentucky; brothers, David (Sue) Cornett of Jenkins, Kentucky, Ralph (Mary) Cornet of Westport, Richard (Janie) Cornett of Crothersville, and Kenis (Elileen) Cornett of North Vernon; sisters, Susie (Larry) Williams of Seymour, Maxine Sexton and Martha (Jim) Coate, both of Uz, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home with Brother Jim Fields officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time Friday. Burial will be at Hayden Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
