Genevieve Adkins, 91, of Ohlman, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. at Nokomis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Nokomis. She was born on October 19, 1926 in Lakewood Township, IL. The Daughter of Edward and Olka (Trout) Phegley. She married Roy Adkins on June 4, 1950 in Lakewood, IL.
She is survived by her Husband: Roy Adkins of Ohlman, IL; Sons: Gary Phegley of Hillsboro, IL; Terry Adkins and companion Judy Voss of Ohlman, IL; Dan (Anna) Adkins of Nokomis, IL; Daughter: Patty (John) Vedder of Nokomis, IL; Grandchildren: John (Heather) Vedder, Pixie (Jamie) Vieweg, Bobby (Melissa) Vedder, Leslie (Larry) Farris, Brent Adkins, Amanda Thompson, William Adkins; Great-Grandchildren Nicole and Chase Vieweg; Kadyn, Gage and Nora Vedder; Bailey and Cody Ferris; Sisters: Vida Hayward; Merle (Don) Hymes; Ruby Prater all of Shelbyville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
