A wonderful, mild soldier in the army of God. In the preceding months before his ordinaition he was so excited and full of life, more so than usual. When he became ordained no one knew what to call him. We only knew him as Tommy. His solution was that Tommy was just fine, eventually "father" would take it's place.
Within a year of his ordination, Father Ford and two coworkers were killed in a terrible car accident, in New Jersey, I believe. Such a tragedy compounded by his youth, his glorious disposition, and his extraoardinary need to serve God. We are sure that he is fulfilling those needs as we speak. I guess that God simply needed him up there more than we need him down here.
