Alia Frances Bennett, 92, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1996, at Brookville Healthcare Center.

She was born May 7, 1904, in Kentucky to John and Elizabeth Banks Frye.

Survivors include a son, Howell Brewer, Jr. of Richmond; three daughters, Cassie Workman of St. Louis, Mo., Mary Logsdon of West Union, Ohio, and Dorothy Watson of Brookville; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Branstetter of Cleves, Ohio; and two brothers, Hill Frye of Brookville and Mose Frye of Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howell Brewer, Sr. and Luther B. Bennett; a daughter, Rosella Branstetter; a son, John R. Brewer; and six brothers.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Cook Funeral Home, Brookville. The Rev. Charles "Bill" Nolty, of Plum Grove Pentecostal Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 13, at the funeral home.
