Christine is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Andrew Jackson McCurry, Jr.; daughter Sherry McCurry Carroll; a great grandson; a great great grandson; and three siblings
Mrs. McCurry was a member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was an active member of the Gardendale Garden Club for many years. She was involved in many community activities including the beautification board, meals on wheels, the PTA, and many others as she had a heart to serve. Christine spent the last five years at Covenant Woods in Gardendale.
Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with the service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
