Nicholas Kacur, 73, of 2513 East 33rd St., Lorain, a millwright at Lorain-Cuyahoga Works, US Steel Corp., for 50 years before retiring in 1968, died yesterday in St. Joseph Hospital. he was ill two years.
Mr. Kacur was born in Chester, Pa., and came to Lorain 55 years ago. He was a member of St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Lorain Eagles.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; a son, Robert of Avon lake; three grandchildren; a brother, Mike of Lorain and a sister.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, Lorain, where a parastas service will be held tomorrow at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial park, Lorain.
