Joe served as a proud Marine in Vietnam and worked for many years as a Marine Machinist Instructor at P.S.N.S. Joe enjoyed bowling, camping, golfing, showing off his prize '67 Mustang, or just sitting all day talking with the gang at Larson's Cafe.
Retiring due to his health, he spent his final years as a volunteer at the World Trade Center Memorial in Bremerton, working tirelessly to keep the monument and park clean.
