A native of Norfolk, he was a retired construction worker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Cason and Brenda Jones, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Margaret Mosby of the Bronx, N.Y., and Melissa Nash of Edgewood, Md.; two brothers, Albert Mosby of Georgia and Bobby Mosby of the Bronx; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Mt. Zion Interdenominational Church by the Rev. Willie McNair. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
