Mildred Marcille Ellingsworth, 93 of Sullivan passed away at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan. She was born Oct.11, 1913 in Cass, to Floyd Bledsoe and Blanche Carr Bledsoe.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sullivan, where she sang for many years in the choir and taught Bible and Sunday School. She was also a lifetime member of the Village Homemakers Home Economics Club.

She is survived by two sons, three sisters, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was married first to Wendall Walter Cox and they divorced.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Ellingsworth in 1976; her parents; one brother James Bledsoe; and one great-grandchild Alyssa Rodriguez.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan with the Rev. Timothy Fleace officiating. Burial will be in Dugger Cemetery.
