SALINEVILLE - Clyde Tedrow, 86, of 15197 Steubenville-Pike Road, died Saturday at 3:45 p.m. at Community Hospital East in Salem where he had been a patient for 12 days.

Born in Cameron, W. Va., jan. 11, 1891, he was a son of Henry and Sarah Jane Phillips Tedrow.

He resided in Greene County, Pa., most of his life, and was an oil well driller until his retirement in 1957.

Survivors include his widow, the former Myrtle Gorby, who he married Aug. 1, 1925; four sons, Clyde Harold Tedrow of Salineville, Lloyd G. Tedrow of Rogers, Nile W. Tedrow of Wind Ridge, Pa., and John I. Tedrow of Beloit; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Mary Jane) Martin of Wind Ridge, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Varner of Cameron, W. Va., and Mrs. Charles (Alice Faye) of Moundsville, W. Va.; 30 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two step great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home in Hundred, W. Va. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery in Cameron.

Friends may call at the MacLean Funeral Home in Wellsville tonight.
