Albert Kvistad, 71, 683 West 4th St., died at 6:30 am today at home after a two month illness.
He was born sept 16, 1890 at Albion, WI, son of Ole Kvistad and Britha Simonson. He had lived in Winona 2 1/2 years. He lived most of his life in Taylor, WI and moved here from Black River Falls.
He married Sadie Nelson June 5, 1912 at Taylor.
Survived by his wife, three sons
1. Joseph S (1924-2008) and
2. James Laverne (1932-1991)of Janesville and
3. Raymond Leroy (1928-1978) of Winona;
seven daughters:
4. Alma Stella Overby (1912-2001) of Taylor,
5. Clara J Paulson (1913-2011) of Helena, MT,
6. Evelyn Birdene (Orvel) Mathews of Racine (1917-1993)
7. Beverly Ann Fagerness (1933-1994) of Janesville,
8. Marie Saunders,
9. Doris Marcella Paulson (1921-2003) and
10. Arlene Lemae Hansen (1927-2003) all of BRF.
17 grandchildren.
One son Omer died in 1950.
Funeral will be held in Taylor. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Taylor
