Mrs. Clara Hunt
WIIITEWATER (Special) --Mrs Clara E Hunt, 71 years old, of Whitewater, died at 8 Saturday morning at Chaffee General Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks. Mrs. Hunt had been in iII health two years.
She was born Jan 14, 1906, at Morehouse. Miss Phegley, married George H. Hunt Sept 8, 1942: he died Dec. 30, 1969.
She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Perkins.
Surviving; daughter, Mrs. Betty Waddle, Whitewater: brother, Bill Phegley, Flint, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Frances Golightly, Oran, Mrs. Mary Kirn, Chaffee, and Mrs. Angline Kennedy, New London, Wis.; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The body is at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee, where friends may call.
Service will be at 2 Monday afternoon at the funeral home with the Rev. ArviI Huffman, pastor of the Chaffee General Baptist Church and the Rev. Earl Reinhart, pastor of the Fairview Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery near Perkins.
Pallbearers will be Mike. Randy and Terry Waddle, and A. J., Jimmie and Jerry Fowler.
