Melissa Faye (Missy) Absbire, 30, of Goodview, passed away with her son, Jack on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 of injuries sustained in a car wreck. Missy was fun loving, full of life, always reaching out for the next excitement. She lived life to the fullest and was a loving mother and daughter who will be greatly missed. Surviving are her children, Aaron Nathaniel Kennedy, Asheley Nichole Kennedy, Sarah Hope Lawhorne and Cody Scott Lawhorne; her partner in life, Scott Lawhorne; her mother, Dawn R. Anderson and her husband, Alan; her father, Charles Victor Reed and his wife Jacqueline; her second mother, Mary Frances Steinmetz; her sisters, Sheneika Dawn Wooldridge and husband Eddie, Coco Shari Leemkuil, Amy Nichole Thompson and Tiffany Dawn Joanis; her nieces, Nicole Renee Wooldridge and Karah Michelle Wooldridge; a nephew, Eddie Wooldridge, Jr.; her pets, Lucy and Bruno. A memorial service for Melissa and her son Jack will be held at Oakview Church of God (2915 King St.) Thursday, March 29, 2007, 7 p.m. with the Rev. Steve Garay officiating.
