THE FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES OF Mrs. JANE E.M. FOSTER, relict of the late John Foster, and of her family, are requested to attend her funeral services from the First Christian Church THIS DAY (Saturday) at 12 o'clock, p.m.

Death of a Worthy Woman,

The many friends of Mrs. Jane E.M. Foster will regret to hear of her death, which occurred at her residence on Bay Street about 2 o'clock yesterday morning after a long illness.

Mrs. Foster was the mother of four prominent Augusta citizens, vix: Hon. H. Clay Foster, now deceased, M.P. Foster, Esq., and Drs. Eugene and Wm. Harrison Foster.

She was a most estimable Christian character, and her death will carry sadness to many a heart to which her life had carried kindness and consolation.

The funeral will take place, from the Christian Church, at 12 o'clock today.
