Manitowoc - Marion E. Parworth, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Friday, January 5, 2018, at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Marion was born in Manitowoc to the late Alois [Albert] and Irene Springstube Langley. She attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers. Marion had been employed at the Foley company and at West of the Lake Gardens where she groomed the flowers and gave tours for Ruth West. She was the founder and director of the Manitowoc Garden-Fair for 27 years. Marion loved gardening and was a member of the Manitowoc Garden Club for 20 years. She had a given talent for interior design and decorating. Marion was also a member of the Silver Cliff Fire and Rescue Auxiliary. On September 21, 1961 she married Joseph W. Parworth in Winona, MN.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Joe; two children: Darrel Parworth, St. Nazianz; Jody (Andrew) Taylor, Green Bay; 5 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister: Janice (Eugene) Parworth, Manitowoc; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alois and Irene Langley.

Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Carly Kuntz officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
